That’s why you'll find Simply Entrée’s complete meal preparation service simply makes sense. We provide you with everything you need to prepare your family's meals in a fun and clean environment. You'll have all the choices without any of the hassles! In fact, we eliminate the five time-consuming steps of effective meal preparation. At Simply Entrée, all you need to do is choose the homestyle entrées from our monthly menu, and join us at our location to prepare the dishes. Bring a family member or friend to enjoy the experience with you, or better yet, they can make a package for themselves, (for sanitation reasons no one under the age of 12 may work in our kitchen). We provide you with completely prepared ingredients, food preparation stations and instructions to create your own entrées. When you’re finished, all you need to do is bring the entrées home, freeze them, defrost and bake as needed. When it comes to providing consistently tasty and nutritious handmade meals without all the daily hassles, what can be simpler? How It Works Each month, call or log on to our website to review our menu choices. Choose 3, 6, 9, or 12 entrée’s for your family and friends to enjoy. Sign up for one of our convenient session times, and let us know your entrée choices. Why not call a friend to join you in preparing delicious meals? On the day of your appointment, clean out your freezer and pack your car with a large cooler to assure the safe transport of your entrées. To help assure our food preparation environment is as hygienic as possible for all our guests, be sure you dress in fresh clothing and are not feeling ill. Pick up your friend and come visit our commercial kitchen. If it is your first visit, please arrive 15 minutes early so that we can give you some instruction and a tour. We call this instruction time Simply Entrée University. Once you have your “diploma”, you may arrive at your session time, or up to 10 minutes early. Upon arrival, we’ll greet you at the door, help you stow your personal belongings, and give you a fresh apron and a bandana to cover your hair. You’ll wash your hands and move to an open station to begin creating your entrée’s. Each of our 16 stations will be labeled with step by step instructions and all of the ingredients, spices, and storage supplies you will need, including single-use gloves for those times when you’ll need to touch the food with your hands. After sealing your first entrée into its freezer-safe container, you’ll wash your hands and move to the labeling table to secure cooking instructions to your entrée. Place the entrée on your personal shelf inside our commercial refrigerator, wash again, and move to the next recipe station. You’ll feel pretty exhilarated by this point when you realize you just completed making your first entrée in only 10 minutes. What's more, someone else is cleaning up the mess, while you're about to prepare your next dinner! All this while visiting with a friend. You should expect about 30 minutes to prepare 3 entrées, 60 minutes to prepare 6 entrées, 90 minutes to prepare 9 entrées, and 2 hours to prepare 12 entrées. What a fun and productive way to spend 2 hours!! When you’re all done, one of our friendly Kitchen Coordinators will help you load your cooler to be sure you didn’t forget anything. She’ll also recommend some side dishes you may want to choose to complement your entrées. Then we’ll total up your package. We accept Visa, Master Card, Checks and Cash. You’ll have had so much fun, this will be a great time to take a look at the next month’s menu and book your next session. Once home, promptly refrigerate 2 or 3 of the entrées to make this week, and freeze the rest.
